We've been hit with some pretty heavy rains lately. Today was no exception, and our street got flooded from the rains.  It's not too bad...only ankle deep in the deepest sections, but it still makes life a bit unpleasant.  That said, I'm thankful I still have a house.  Longtime friends from my childhood had their house destroyed by a landslide.  (Article here.)  So send your positive thoughts to the families affected by this landslide.  Luckily, there were warning signs, so nobody was injured.
