In February, 2007 Devin and I took a trip to San Francisco that would change our lives forever. (Wow, that sounded knid of dramatic...hehehe.) We attended the ISS Job Fair for international schools and I came away from that with a job at ISE. A favorite past-time for us is to visit bookstores and look for bargains. In one bookstore, Devin found a Thai cookbook that is absolutely HUGE. It contains information on the fruits, vegetables, meats, spices, etc. that are involved in Thai cooking along with countless pages of recipes for appetizers, entrees, desserts, sauces, and anything else you can imagine. Well, that cookbook sat on the shelf for about a year. This fall, Devin got inspired and has started cooking from it occasionally. Tonight, she made a wonderful dish: Lemongrass Pork Skewers and Stuffed Peppers. It just looked great on the table, so I decided to take a picture and post it as a picture of the week.
And it tasted even better than it looked. Just one of the many reasons I love Devin.
And for those of you that know my eating habits... Yes, I ate my pepper with rice, asparagus and cherry tomatoes.
