Japan - Day 3 - Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation
22nd December, 2007
Today was another great day. We headed out on the trains again, this time heading to the Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. Devin spotted this gem in one of the guidebooks. She has a knack for finding cool places to visit. This place had lots of cool stuff for David to play with. Rather than bore you with the details of the exhibits, I'll just refer you to a few of the pictures below. My favorite is the thermal image. You'll see what I mean.
We were all kind of tired from the day, so we just went home after the museum. But on the train ride home, I noticed something. The universal language of peek-a-boo that we play with kids. Devin and I found some kids on the train to play "weird face" with, and of course David always draws a crowd of smiling adults wanting to say hello. The spoken language doesn't matter at this point. Smiles and gestures are enough.
