Australia - Day 6 - Christmas Day

25th December, 2008.

The day started early, with David waking up at around 5:00 AM, just itching to get started opening his Christmas presents.  Santa Claus visited us in Australia (we sent him an e-mail so he'd know where to go) and David was a happy kid.

We shipped him off to Kid's Club at the resort so we could get a nap.  David had a quick swim in the afternoon and a nap of his own before we ventured out into "downtown" Surfers Paradise to try to find dinner.  Along the way we listened for a bit to an Aboriginal street performer playing the didgeridoo.  I have to say I was quite impressed.  It's a very versatile instrument.  Here's a video of the performance.  It's shot on my regular camera, not the video camera, so it's not the greatest quality.

There isn't much to report about this day, but I included a few photos below.  Click on the image to see a larger version.
