Australia - Day 3 - Diving for Lowell, Rest and Relaxation

22nd December, 2008.

Today was a fun day for me.  I got my first day of SCUBA diving!  Woohoo!  David got to hang out at the Kid's Club here at our hotel and Devin got some well-deserved rest.  (After she spent lots of time planning the next week of activity.)

Pictures from the diving can be found here.  It wasn't a spectacular day of diving, but it was fun to get in the water here.  For dinner, Devin and I headed out to Hog's Breath Cafe, which has a good reputation for steaks.  In Thailand, good steak is hard to come by, so we're hoping to get our fill.  We both ordered prime rib, only to be a bit disappointed that it was more like steak than prime rib.  Oh well, it was good enough!

Otherwise, today really didn't offer a lot of excitement.
