April in Thailand is hot.  And humid.  And did I mention that it's the start of the hot season?  Alright, alright.  I'll stop complaining, since I feel like I live in paradise.

My school celebrated the Songkran festival.  Songkran has quite a history in Thailand (not that I know ALL of the history...), but it has turned into a huge party.  At school, we celebrated a more traditional version of Songkran.  Check out a couple pictures and more details here.

Songkran also provides a great excuse to take a vacation from school.  This would be the Thai version of spring break.  So David and I headed to Penang, Malaysia for some R&R.  Check out pictures and details here.
